BE-4087 N. veitchii ‘intermediate’ – assorted clones
This is a highland-lowland Nepenthes veitchii and so it is class as ‘intermediate’, since it grows easily and in a much wider range of temperatures than either the highland or lowland forms.
First introduced in March 2019.
Horticulturally bred by Borneo Exotics.
The female parent is the Bario form of N. veitchii, which is a highland variety and this particular parent has a green pitcher body with rust-red peristome.
The male parent is the ‘Sungai Samba’ form of the species, which is a lowland variety and it also has a green pitcher body with rust-red peristome.
