BE-4031 N. (ventricosa x sibuyanensis) x robcantleyi

This is a large, showy cross, which produces very large pitchers, some of which have an interesting veined texture as can be seen in the photos.

History:  Introduced to cultivation in Oct 2020 on our wholesale auctions and put on general release through our network of distributors for the first time in Dec 2021.

Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a seed-grown specimen of the highly vigorous N. ventricosa x sibuyanensis. The male parent is a giant and exceptionally black N. robcantleyi, which is one of the original six and has the cultivar name ‘King of Spades’. This is a great cross as the photos show and is truly eye catching. The extreme vigour of the female parent and the size of the male parent have combined well to make a cross with huge and unusual pitchers.
