BE-3975 N. hamata – Gng. Tambusisi

Nepenthes hamata is a wonderful species with clawed peristome and perhaps the most iconic species that most people can grow successfully.

Both parent plants to this grex are themselves seed-raised specimens. This is a triumph for conservation and is probably the first ever horticulturally bred Nepenthes hamata. Peristomes on mature plants observed in the wild are sometimes red and the lower pitchers are sometimes larger than the form from Gng. Lumut.
