BE-3960 N. robcantleyi x reinwardtiana – selected clones
The pitchers are slender in the form of the male parent N. reinwardtiana, but get very much larger, thanks to the influence of N. robcantleyi. This is a combination of two clones which are quite similar in appearance, with one being slightly more yellow than the other.
History: First introduced in Nov 2018.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent of this release has the cultivar name ‘Queen of Hearts’ and is very probably the most photographed Nepenthes in history, having appeared on many of our gold medal winning Chelsea Flower show exhibits. The male parent is a classic pure green form of N. reinwardtiana, with our collection ID 1508.
