BE-3758 N. ampullaria x aristolochioides – selected red clones
This is a beautiful cross and both clones involved have a very deep red coloration with almost black peristomes, making it quite different to plants sold under BE-3658.
It’s comprised of a mixture of two similar-looking clones and photos shown here are of one or the other of the clones.
History: First introduced in April 2015
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.
The female parent is a selected clone of N. ampullaria ‘Brunei Red’ (clone CR-1) otherwise known as ‘Williams Red’ and formerly sold under BE-3009.
The male parent is our best selected form of N. aristolochioides, from amongst those sold under BE-3023.
