BE-3689 N. glandulifera x veitchii
The furry characteristics of the parent species are fully evident in this beautiful hybrid. The photos also show nectar glands on various parts of the plant, which of course are the defining characteristic of the female parent, N. glandulifera.
History: In 2017 a few seed-grown plants were sold under BE-3689 and then this cross was unavailable until offered as assorted clones in Mar 2019.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a selected clone of the very robust and spectacular N. glandulifera, with our Collection ID 1564. The male parent is a selected clone of the Bario form of N. veitchii, with red-striped peristome and our Collection ID 0197.
